Monthly Monster

As of this week, I have tried 4 different kinds of birth control. The only one I liked was the one that didn't require pumping an assortment of hormones into my body making me uncontrollable moody. Maybe even a little psycho. I don't want to have it as an excuse, but why wouldn't it be?

It's something that almost every woman deals with. PMS. It's a real thing. Yet so often we are taught or told that it is never an excuse to act sad or mad or all the in-betweens. Add a little birth control on top of the already topsy-turvy emotional roller coaster that is being a woman, and you're asking for disaster. But don't ever blame it on the drugs cause that's not a good enough excuse to wake up feeling like you want to either: A) Stay in bed all day and eat chocolate or B) Bite someone's head off if they even dare to talk to you.

Unless you talk to a fellow woman about it, cause she would most likely understand.
